    Disinfection of Water NO CHEMICALS

    Ultra Violet disinfection can be added to any System Dual, Triple, or RO.

    Can be configured for Portability, this versatile system can be used Caravans & Camping use anywhere.

    UV-3-US.Dual Under sink Systems.
    Stage 1 - The sediment or mechanical filter is used to remove particles such as suspended solids, hair, dirt, rust, etc.
    These cartridges do not remove taste and Odours.
    Even a small amount of turbidity (sediment) in the water reduces the range of transmission to UV radiation.
    If Water is turbid, (Sediment, dust, or other contaminants etc)it needs to be filtered before UV purification.
    A 1 micron Sediment or Mechanical filter prior to the UV lamp is a necessity for the UV to be effective.

    Stage 2 - Ultraviolet or UV energy is found in the electromagnetic spectrum between visible light and x-rays and Is usually described as invisible radiation. In order to kill microorganisms, the UV rays must actually strike the cell. UV energy penetrates the outer cell membrane, passes through the cell body and disrupts its DNA preventing reproduction. UV treatment does not alter water chemically; nothing is being added except energy. The sterilized microorganisms are not removed from the water. UV disinfection does not remove dissolved organics, inorganic's or particles in the water, this why all the Good UV Systems have a sub Micron Carbon Cartridge added such as in our system a 0.05 micron Carbon cartridge. For a higher level of purity we recommend Reverse Osmosis Systems.

    Stage 3 - Molded Carbon Block Filters 0.05M. Activated carbon is a widely used method of drinking water treatment, which adsorbs organic matter and chlorine. The effectiveness of carbon filters relates directly to the type and amount of carbon used and the flow rate or 'contact time' of the water flowing through the filter (In other words the slower the flow the longer the contact time = more contaminants trapped. Carbon also effectively removes up to 99% of hazardous, industrial and agricultural organic chemicals such as THM's, 2.4.D, Lindane, etc


    UV-4-US.

    Stage 2 - Granular activated carbon. Reduces up to 99% of hazardous, industrial and agricultural organic chemicals such as THM's, 2.4.D, Lindane, etc
